It’s all about the simple art of creating – with electronics – and it has never been so easy.
Just as Lego allows you to create complex structures with little engineering knowledge, littleBits are simple, intuitive, space-sensitive blocks that make prototyping with sophisticated electronics a matter of snapping small magnets together.
The group says its mission is “to put the power of electronics in the hands of everyone, and to break down complex technologies so that anyone can build, prototype, and invent’. It wants to ‘democratize hardware’, the way software and printing have been democratized. So far, it’s on course to meet these ambitions – the products are for sale in over 70 countries and in use in more than 2,000 schools.
