It’s a rare thing in life when you get to meet somebody that embodies integrity, kindness and entrepreneurial spirit, but co-founder of Izere Coffee, Deborah Ntawigiria is one of these people. Everything Deborah does is done with thought and care to ensure that everybody her business effects is treated fairly and with integrity. So much so that she has created a whole community of women working and supporting their families.
Deborah originates from Burundi but took the trip to Canada with her mother for her education over ten years ago. This was just the start of her adventure. While in Canada she soon realised that coffee was a staple drink that almost everyone loved. It was this that spurred her on to create her brand, Izere Coffee.
Izere Coffee is an inspirational brand that not only serves some of the finest coffee you will ever taste but also deals directly with the people of Deborah’s home of Burundi to cultivate, grow and sell the coffee beans that go into every cup.
Deborah has received some well deserved recognition for her business winning the Entrepreneur Of The Year at the No Limits awards and has also been chosen as a competitor in the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program.
