Altså is a quarterly feminist magazine which launched on 8th March 2019, coinciding with International Women’s Day.
Founder, Ida Eliassen-Coker, has set out her mission to bring the latest, most relevant content, covering difficult issues in a hard-hitting but down-to-earth manner, opening up new discussion on topics previously unheard to women in Norway and hopefully one day, beyond. Altstå is providing an inspirational platform for females from all backgrounds to find their voice in the fight for equality.
Currently the magazine is only available on paper, but Altså not only has feminism at heart but the environment too. The magazine is printed in an environmentally friendly way and sent out in a climate conscious manner.
Each edition will include: technology, international news, psychology, self-development, sex, career management, art and culture, film, permanent columnists and inspirational ladies who do untraditional things along with a comments section.
Although Norway is one of the most equal places to live and grow, there is still work to be done. Altså magazine is at the forefront of the continued positive, progressive thinking and education still needed in the fight for gender equality.
